Pupil Voice
At The Heights, Burnley, we believe that our pupils have a right to be heard and to influence school life. We encourage our pupils to have a strong voice and involve them in the decision-making process.
At The Heights:
- pupil participation is integral to the school’s vision and ethos;
- there are clear structures in place to capture pupils’ views;
- pupils have a range of opportunities to influence decisions which affect them.
For this reason we have representatives from the student body who attend half termly meetings hosted by our Pastoral Team.
Pupils are asked for suggestions and consulted about various issues in school and this information is then responded to by the Senior Leadership Team.
